We would like to thank you for all the information provided. And to say we had an amazing experience. My son who is underage loved the place and we loved it too. Because after so long away from Brazil, we finally had a barbecue as we had not done for a long time, because where we live there is no area for barbecue. It was really spectacular. Congratulations on the place!

Just back from another great winter getaway at Journey's End.
The accommodation, location and weather were all wonderful!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 weeks in and around Luz. There were just 3 days that had some rain, and evening temperatures can drop a bit, but otherwise it was sunshine and warmth....breakfasts on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful pool and garden, gentle strolls along the seafront (plenty of outlets open for a drink or ice cream), relaxing in the sunshine all afternoon and walking out again in the evening for a choice of good restaurants...not quite the January/February lifestyle back home!!
There's a wealth of places to visit within a short drive; we were never lost for something to do.
The bus link from Luz to Lagos is frequent and inexpensive, and the taxi fares very reasonable if you want a later night out in Lagos (several restaurants have good Fado nights; we thoroughly recommend the Barrigada restaurant for a Fado night...it's a simple, excellent value place adjacent to the fishing boat harbour, over the river from Lagos....but do book!)
If an evening in is on the books, the kitchen is excellent for self-catering and the log fire very cosy. T.V. and internet connection also very good.
The booking process and all communication with Roger, Margaret and the new local manager Tanya was faultless.
We hope to return to this beautiful and interesting part of the Algarve before too long, and wouldn't hesitate to rebook Journey's End.

Having stayed in villas and apartments throughout the Algarve over the last 20 years, "Journey's End " is up there as one of the best. From the straightforward booking process, sensible key retrieval and no requirement for outdated security deposits this started out well and just got better.
"Journey's End " is set in a peaceful location with easy parking and yet is close to all the amenities Praia da Luz has to offer. It was spotless inside, well equipped, very spacious, south facing with ample balcony and terrace space and is just a few steps from a lovely pool which is set in beautiful gardens.
On this occasion our visit was only for 4 nights before we went to another resort but we were so impressed we intend to return and that will be for a longer stay. Well recommended.

Visited in November 2018. Great location where the bustle of Praia Da Luz is still present. Temperature's still good, 18 - 21 degrees celsius.
The apartment is spacious, homely and modern, possibly with a 'Portuguese cottage' feel. Decoration and garden are to a high standard. And, on enquiring about rebooking, I understand it's going to be redecorated soon too. Too cold though for the outdoor swimming pool but it is their autumn!
Sooo recommended for the ease of booking, simplicity and balcony/master bedroom views.
I so wish I could add photos, you'd be there in a moment's notice.
Pleasant, effortless and more than welcoming. You might not want to leave. I'd recommend having a hire car too.

This is a fabulous property in a wonderful location. It's extremely well equipped and more spacious than the photographs suggest. There is plenty of room for four adults. Sitting on the south facing terrace, with a view over the gardens and pool area, soaking up the sun in December was a particular delight. The sheltered downstairs terrace is equally enjoyable for sun worshippers. The log fire is a welcome and cosy facility for cooler evenings; wood is readily available in local supermarkets and reasonably priced. There is plenty of parking available and the area feels very safe.
It is an easy 7-10 minute stroll to the seafront of Luz where there are various places to admire the sea view and enjoy a glass of wine (or two). Even in December there are plenty of restaurants open.
The local management team and cleaners are friendly and helpful and Roger and Margaret made the booking process extremely easy and always responded promptly to any queries - thanks to you all!
We thoroughly recommend this property and would love to return soon.

We have never written a review before as we have never been impressed enough but this holiday was different.
This accomodation is as good as its gets, clean spacious rooms, equipped to highest standard, full TV that includes sport chanels, air conditioning and to sumerise a real home from home.
The location is second to none, an easy short walk to the beach and all amenities yet in a lovely quite and relaxed area.
Roger and Margaret were super fast in responding to any queries we had and did all they could to make sure our stay was as great as it could be.
We will definitly be regulars from now on, thats how impressed we were.

Believe everything that the owners of this beautiful holiday home have written about it. There was no hyperbole and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Journeys End.

A Home from Home
The apartment is furnished to the highest standards in a good, quiet location. The rooms are large and would comfortably accomodate 5, should this be a requirement. All clean and tidy upon arrival with beds made up. The pool is spacious and gardens well maintained. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

The house was perfect - it couldn't have been better. It was so well equipped - we wanted for nothing. The children had a great time in the swimming pool and we could relax watching them. A lovely lady who lives in a house nearby gave them some toys that had belonged to her grandchildren so they were delighted. Luz is lovely with many great restaurants and nearby lagos is just beautiful. I have no hesitation in recommending Journeys End. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect retreat... A special holiday as we were getting married in the wonderful Church in Luz.....Roger & Margaret wanted us to have a great time and for nothing to cause us concern. They even arranged for a bottle of Bubbly and some flowers delivered to us on our wedding day. What a nice personal touch.
